Joleon Lescott has joined Aston Villa from West Brom for an undisclosed fee.

Lescott signed a two-year deal with the Baggies in June last year at the end of his 5-year spell with Manchester City, and made 34 league appearances for the club.
The 33-year-old has signed a two-year deal with the Villans for a fee rumoured to potentially rise to £2m.

Manager Tim Sherwood said: “I’m delighted to bring Joleon on board. “He’s a player who has great Premier League experience and he’ll be a huge help to the younger members of our squad.”
Lescott has 26 England caps. He played for Wolves from 2000 to 2006, before joining Everton. He signed for Man City in deal worth £22m in 2009 and won two Premier League titles at the Etihad Stadium in 107 appearances.
Hw will be reunited with his former team-mate Micah Richards at Villa Park.
