Church Sues Strip Club For Sending unclad Dancers To The Church During Prayer Services

Church members are angry after a stripclub sent unclad dancers to stand in front of the house of worship as families with young children entered and exited for prayer services, according to court documents in Ohio

According to Scoop, New Beginnings Ministries of Warsaw, alleges that the unclad dancers have been threatening members of the church, blocking the entrances and exits, and violated their right to religious freedom. Pastor William Dunfee told the court that young children were forced to be exposed to unclad women who were standing outside the church.
Thomas George, the owner the Foxhole stripclub, was named in the lawsuit. Members of the church have been seen protesting in front of the Foxhole stripclub, urging the owner and customers to repent.  George denied the allegations, saying that Dunfee wants his stripclub to go out of business.

BUSTED: Restaurant Caught Selling Horse Meat As Zebra Meat To Customers

A restaurant in the United Kingdom, was slapped with a fine after officials learned that they were selling horse meat as zebra meat. The owner of the Steakhouse in Hertfordshire, was ordered to pay a fine of 4,000 pounds ($6,098) after Trading Standards officers visited the restaurant and were served horse meat instead of an exotic dish.

The owner of the Steakhouse, 32-year-old Kunal Soni, claims that he sells various exotic cuts of meat such as zebra, ostrich, kangaroo, wildebeest and antelope.
The two officers who visited the restaurant, ordered zebra and wildebeest, but they were severed deer and horse. When confronted, Soni said that the waiter had made a mistake with their order.
The officers seized the meat labeled as zebra and wildebeest, and they turned out to be deer and horse. The officers returned to the restaurant and found 48 pounds of horse meat in the freezer.  In court, Soni pleaded guilty to misleading customers.

Guy Calls Deaf Service 4,000 Times — To self service

A Brooklyn man is using a video calling service for the deaf to reach out and touch — himself, the company providing the service alleges in a lawsuit. David Marcano is one of the most fervent users of software offered by a Florida company, ZVRS, which gets federal money every time a hearing-disabled person uses its product to place a call, the company claims. NY Post has more:

The software allows the deaf to call one of ZVRS’s sign-language interpreters via video chat. The interpreters act as operators, placing calls to third parties on behalf of the deaf person and then translating the call. But Marcano, 51, isn’t deaf, and his calls don’t need any translating, the company says in Brooklyn federal court papers. Marcano has made 4,646 calls to ZVRS since Jan. 1 “for the sole purpose of self servicing in view of ZVRS’s employees,” the business says.
“In every call made through ZVRS’s software platform, Marcano appears on the video call for the purpose of exposing his private parts or self servicing to ZVRS’s female staff,” according to the suit which seeks unspecified damages. As soon as ZVRS cancels Marcano’s account, he uses false information to create a new one, they gripe. He’s called from eight different numbers, and contacted them as recently as Sept. 21, the company charges. He has signed up for new ZVRS accounts under the names “Davey Mareno,” “Davey Mar,” “Dave Maccan,” “Dave Mard” and “Dave Macan,” among others.
The calls have cost the company productivity and business and left ZVRS’s employees with emotional distress, the firm claims. ZVRS also is seeking an injunction against Marcano to stop his hands-on use of their service, accusing him of fraud and breach of contract because he signed up for software he doesn’t need. Marcano didn’t respond to messages sent to each of the 24 e-mail addresses ZVRS says he used to create the fake accounts.

Female Reporter Gets Sexually Harassed During Live Report On s*xual Harassment

In the ultimate SMH moment of probably her entire career, a female reporter for the BBC was sexually harassed while literally filming a report on how much women are being sexually harassed.

The Daily Mail reports that the journalist, Sarah Teale, was sitting outside the Nottingham Conference Centre in Nottingham, England filming the segment.
After reporting that  “An online study found a shocking 95 per cent of people said they had been harassed, either jeered at or had obscenities shouted at them in the street,” a man walks by and shouts something that was explicit enough that it had to be bleeped.
Teale, in the understatement of all time, pointed out the incident on Twitter.

This Russian teenager is turning heads in his hometown of Krasnoyarsk for looking like a walking, talking X-Ray. The entire right side of his face is covered with a skull tattoo, complete with gaping eye sockets, blackened nose, and perfectly traced bones and teeth. He’s even colored his right eyeball black for a hollow effect! Scoop has more:

Nikita Lesnoy was fascinated by tattoos as a child, ever since he saw one made by his father. As he grew older he began to research the subject more, eventually getting his first tattoo at age 15. And now at 18 years, half of his face is inked with a skull. He works at a tattoo parlour himself, so his bizarre face hasn’t affected his career.

“Nobody worries about my look too much in my line of work, because I also have my dream job working in a tattoo studio,” he said. But he admitted that people on the streets are often shocked by his appearance. Nearly everyone gapes at him, some in admiration, others in disgust. His own mother was horrified at first, when she saw that his face was permanently imprinted with a skull. But she got used to it eventually. “It did not affect our relationship,” he said. “I am still her son just as I was before. She understands that each person has hobbies, and an image – this is my passion.”
Lesnoy said that of all the tattoos he’s gotten so far, the skull is the most complicated. In fact, he searched for a competent tattoo artist for two years before he found someone who could reproduce an anatomically accurate skull on his face. Getting inked on the face is undoubtedly painful, but Lesnoy preferred not to take any anesthesia during the process. “I will remember the pain for the rest of my life , but it was worth it,” he said.

Couple Arrested For Bank Robbery After Posting Implicating Photos On Facebook

An Ohio couple was arrested this week for allegedly robbing an Ohio bank after posting photos to Facebook showing them posing with stacks of cash, according to police. John Mogan, 28, and Ashley Duboe, 24, are charged with the August 24 robbery of Savings Bank in Ashville, a town 20 miles south of Columbus.

Investigators allege that Mogan, a convicted felon who was just released from prison, walked into the bank and gave a note demanding money to a teller, who then handed over cash. They allege that prior to driving Mogan to the Ashville bank, Duboe applied makeup to his face and neck to cover numerous tattoos.
Once the images were uploaded on to Facebook several days after the robbery, Mogan and Duboe were tracked down and arrested. They have each been charged with robbery and theft, and are locked up in lieu of $250,000 bond in the Pickaway County jail.

Missing 24-Year-Old Feared Dead Found Alive And Well 30 Years Later

A 24-year-old woman who went missing from her home in 1984, sparking a 31-year-long murder mystery, has been found alive and well.  Computer science student Petra Pazsitka vanished without a trace from her home in Germany three decades ago and was officially declared dead in 1989.
Her disappearance led to an extensive investigation, with nationwide appeals, searches and video reconstructions of her last known actions. It is understood she left her student flat in Braunschweig and went to the shop and the dentist. The Independence has more:

Friends claimed she then boarded a bus with the intention of going to visit her parents – but never arrived at their home. A man who had previously been convicted for the r*pe and murder of a 14-year-old girl in the area confessed to Petra’s murder. However, he later retracted his confession and Petra’s body was never found.  Fast forward to September 11, 2015, a routine police call out to a report of a burglary solved the ‘murder’ mystery.

Arriving at the scene in Düsseldorf (some 200 miles from Petra’s home town) a ‘Mrs Schneider’ revealed the curious tale under questioning. The 55-year-old woman was in fact Petra Pazsitka and she claimed she had lived in western german under false names and without official documents since her disappearance. “As to the motive of her disappearance, she gave no explanation, and expressly said that she continues to want no contact with the public or her family.”

Petra’s case received prominence in the German media, notably the country’s version of Crimecall Aktenzeichen XY…ungelöst when the investigation into her disappearance ran cold. Her father died several years ago but her mother and brother are reportedly in shock to learn that Petra is alive and well.

Muslim Father Strangles Daughter, 19 To Death After She Was Caught Stealing Condoms For S*x

Muslim man, Asadullah Khan, strangled his own 19-year-old daughter to death with his bare hands after learning from police she had been caught shoplifting condoms to have s*x with her forbidden boyfriend. He and his wife Shazia then dressed the dead girl named Lareeb (left), a dental technician, in her clothes, wheeled her in a wheelchair from their high-rise apartment to the family car, drove to a secluded embankment in their home city of Darmstadt in Germany, and tipped the corpse down it.

Khan, 51, with tears streaming down his face, admitted the killing because in his eyes she had brought ‘dishonour’ on the family with her love for a boy he didn’t approve of. He and his wife were wed in an arranged marriage and he wanted the same for her.

Khan and his wife, originally from Pakistan, are on trial for murder at the State Court in Darmstadt. Shazia, 41, described how she was a downtrodden woman, totally in the thrall of her husband, and unable to save her daughter.

The court heard how the parents sent Lareeb’s sister Nida, 14, to a relative on the evening of the murder in January this year.

Nida gave evidence against both her parents, saying her mother was as strict as their father, often striking both of them.

The mother held out her arms to Nida when she appeared in court on Friday but Nida refused to acknowledge her.

Nida said: ‘My Mama was not suppressed, she could do what she wanted. She used to hit me with a stick.

‘We were never allowed to talk about her boyfriend. My father used to say my sister should be forcibly married in Pakistan.’

The court heard Nida is now in therapy and has nothing more to do with her parents.

Shazia said that on the night of the murder Lareeb had quarelled again with her father and hit him. He later crept into her room as she slept, knelt astride her and strangled her.

‘I couldn’t stop him,’ the mother said in a statement read by her lawyer. ‘I have rheumatism and didn’t have the strength to fight him off. I wanted to scream, but I couldn’t.

‘Lareeb stayed away from the home for several nights in a row and stopped wearing the headscarf. One day we received a letter from the police saying she had been caught trying to steal condoms.

‘At this point it became clear that there was s*xual contact. When I showed the letter to my husband he snapped.’

Killer Asadullah, who speaks no German, said he ‘loved’ his daughter.

Italian Aid Worker Killed In Bangladesh ‘By IS’

Bangladesh police are investigating the murder of an Italian aid worker who was shot on Monday night. The Islamic State group says it carried oot the attack, shooting dead Cesare Tavella, 50, in the capital Dhaka’s diplomatic quarter. Police Commissioner Asaduzzaman Mia said Tavella was jogging when two attackers fired at him from behind.

The US and UK urged citizens to be cautious, saying they had information Western interests could be targeted. They have also restricted the movements of their diplomats. The BBC’s South Asia editor Joanna Jolly says it is the first time IS has claimed an attack in Bangladesh, where it has not yet announced a branch.
In its claim, IS warned that “citizens of the crusader coalition” would not be safe in Muslim nations. Police in Dhaka have not commented on the IS claim. Bangladesh has been struggling to respond to a recent rise in radical Islamist groups. Extremists have carried out a series of high-profile attacks on secular bloggers, hacking to death four bloggers – one a US citizen – so far this year. One group, Ansarullah Bangla Team, has reportedly threatened to kill secular bloggers and activists outside Bangladesh. The group was outlawed in May.

‘Severe Violence’ Paralyses Central African Republic Capital Bangui

The last 72 hours have seen some of the worst levels of violence in Bangui, the capital of the Central African Republic (CAR), in over a year, according to Doctors without Borders (MSF), the medical charity.

The violence has overwhelmed medical facilities and crippled humanitarian work, the charity says.
Emmanuel Lampaert, head of operations at MSF in Bangui, told Al Jazeera over the phone on Tuesday that up to 150 people had been wounded in clashes between communities in the city since Saturday.
“This is the worst violence we have seen in a year, and this time the medical consequences are higher,” he said. “Our teams are also finding it difficult to move to areas with needs as the barriers to assist have become far more visible.”

UN Chief Condemns Deadly Air Strike That Killed 135 In Yemen

The UN chief has strongly condemned a reported attack in Yemen blamed for the deaths of an estimated 135 civilians at a wedding party, while calling for an investigation. The incident happened on Monday, with local medical officials accusing the Arab coalition of causing the deaths while bombing a village near the Red Sea port of al-Mokha. Aljazeera has more:

Saudi Arabia and its Gulf Arab allies launched an air campaign in March against the Iran-allied Shia Houthis, after they forced Yemen’s President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi into exile. More than 2,000 civilians have been killed in the ongoing conflict, according to the UN.
Saudi Arabia’s official news agency carried no comment on the reports of the deaths in al-Mokha, but the spokesman for the Arab coalition rejected the claims of air attacks in the area. “Any intentional attack against civilians is considered a serious violation of international humanitarian law,” Ban Ki-moon, the UN secretary-general, said in a statement on Monday.
“Violations of international law should be investigated through prompt, effective, independent and impartial mechanisms to ensure accountability.” Reports said the fatalities include children.

Dujuan Brings Flooding To Eastern China

Typhoon Dujuan has begun to disintegrate over eastern China after unleashing its full force on the neighbouring island of Taiwan. At least two people were killed and more than 300 injured as the typhoon tore across central Taiwan on Monday night. Aljazeera reports:

Dujuan struck Taiwan as the equivalent of a Category 4 storm (on the five point Saffir-Simpson scale).The highest gust recorded on the island was 246km/h, 30km south of Yilan City.  Torrential rain, with as much as 750mm in some areas, resulted in flash flooding and mudslides. At least 1.8 million homes were without power, although 1.3 million of those have since been reconnected. Around 12,000 people were evacuated from their homes in advance of Dujuan’s arrival and this may have contributed to the very low death toll.
The track of Dujuan was slightly further to the south than predicted, meaning that Taipei missed the very worst of the weather, although the city’s famous Taipei 101 skyscraper suffered some damage. Dujuan weakened as it moved across the cooler waters of the Taiwan Strait before making landfall between Putian and Xiamen, China, at 00:00 GMT on Tuesday.
Dujuan’s track and strength is very similar to that of August’s Typhoon Soudelor, which caused at least 26 deaths in China and estimated damage and financial losses of $3bn. Although Dujuan’s winds are weakening rapidly, it is likely that flooding rain will cause disruption and a threat to life for the next few days.

Afghan Forces Mobilise For Kunduz Counteroffensive

Afghanistan has mobilised military reinforcements for a counteroffensive to take back Kunduz, a day after Taliban fighters overran the strategic northern city in their biggest victory since being toppled from power in 2001.

According to Aljazeera, Tuesday’s mobilisation came as the US carried out its first air strike on Kunduz, capital of Kunduz province.  US Army Colonel Brian Tribus, spokesman for the US and NATO missions in Afghanistan, said the raid was conducted “in order to eliminate a threat to the force”, though there were no foreign troops left inside the city.
Afghan security forces have retreated to the outlying airport, leaving the Taliban effectively in control of Kunduz after they stormed the city, capturing government buildings and freeing hundreds of prisoners. Scores of unidentified bodies littered the streets after hours of heavy fighting on Monday, according to local residents, many of whom were making a hasty exit from Kunduz, some by road while others headed to the airport.
As of 11:30am on Tuesday, hospitals in Kunduz province had received 16 fatalities and 172 injured, Wahidullah Mayar, an Afghan health ministry spokesman, told Al Jazeera. Al Jazeera’s Qais Azimy, reporting from Baghlan, just south of Kunduz, said government troops attempted to re-enter the city but were foiled by intense gun battles.

Renowed technocrat, Gamaliel Onosode dies at 82

Renowned technocrat and former presidential candidate of the All Nigeria People's Party of Nigeria. Gamaliel Onosode has died at the age of 82. According to a statement by the family, Onosode died in early hours of today September 29th.

Onosode was born 22 May 1933. He chaired several private and public sector businesses and initiatives. He was the Chairman of Dunlop Nigeria Plc, a former chairman of Cadbury Nigeria Plc, the Presidential Commission on Parastatals (1981), Nigeria LNG Working Committee. He was also the Chairman of Zain Nigeria. May his soul rest in peace Amen.

Police say a man in northern Thailand stormed into a neighbour's home, hacked five children to death and inflicted multiple stab wounds on a pregnant woman who was watching them, AP reports.

Lt Col Sombat Kalasuk said the 24-year-old man had a history of mental illness and was living with his family while being treated for depression at a local hospital.

He apparently became agitated by the noise coming from his neighbour's home in a village outside the northern city of Chiang Mai and grabbed a 47-centimetre kitchen knife which he then used to kill the children. All five children were believed to be under the age of 8. The woman who is 7 months pregnant is being treated for wounds to her face and body.

Jim Carrey's girlfriend commits suicide

Jim Carrey's 28-year-old on/off-again girlfriend, Cathriona White has committed suicide. Her body was found at her residence last night after her friends called the police. TMZ reports below...

Our sources say White left a suicide note addressed to Carrey which references their break up on Sept. 24. Cathriona tweeted on the 24th ... "Signing off Twitter, I hope I have been a light to my nearest and dearest."

Law enforcement tells us they believe she died from an overdose of drugs - pills were next to her body. We're told 2 friends found Cathriona last night when they went to check on her. 53-year-old Carrey and White met in 2012, dated a few months and then split. They rekindled their relationship in May.

Hajj stampede survivor say Saudi Arabia paramedics favoured white victims over Africans

One of the survivors from the recent stampede in Saudi Arabia, an indigene of Osun State, resident in Warri, Delta State revealed that paramedics ignored African pilgrims and concentrated on rescuing white and Caucasian victims which resulted in a high casualty rate among Africans. He said he was stuck in the midst of dead bodies for more than two hours and there was no help from paramedics, who favoured whites over blacks.

"I tried to escape but it was impossible as I was stuck in the midst of many dead bodies and some people were climbing over me to find an escape. I struggled to get myself up to the waist level. From my toe to my waistline, people were all over and I could not get up. I was calling the Saudi police and paramedics on the scene to help me but they didn’t respond and I was stuck there for more than two hours as they were busy helping whites, with no response to my plea,"

Man 'happily' married to 3 women encourages men to marry more than one wife

Fresha Nyambura, Esther Nyaguthii and Agnes Wambui have been married to Charles Macharia for 30 years. The women are now jointly planning the payment of their dowry.
They organised an animated ceremony for first wife Nyambura last Saturday, September 26, in Murang'a town, Kenya, that saw them all dance with their husband and explain their unusual set up.

 "They respect and listen to me. My authority is never undermined," First wife Nyambura said.

She said they have a systematic way of spending time with Macharia but did not give details. Second wife Nyaguthii said;

"He advised us when he decided to get other wives. We are satisfied; there is no need to cause problems. Men pretend to be faithful while keeping their other wives a secret, but we are all here together."

Third wife Wambui said they love each other and are good friends. The three, who live in different houses, broke down their roles ahead of the dowry ceremony to Macharia, who gave them the money needed. Asked to introduce his family during the event, Macharia began by inquiring about attendants only interested in his polygamy.

He then asked those who attended because of their friendship to raise their hands after which he said;

"Let all my wives come here for introduction."

The businessman then introduced the women in the order in which he married them, followed by his 12 children.

"There is no man here who does not have another wife. Notice how smart they are. You have to wake up early and take care of the family. You cannot laze around, you must work hard."

Macharia said he is satisfied and will now focus on getting more children, and lauded his wives for uniting and living peacefully. It is best for men to declare their other relationships, he said, adding that all was well in his family, and urging men to marry more than one woman. Macharia said plans to pay dowry for Nyaguthii and Wambui were in place.

Dead snake keeps wriggling - and the reason why is truly horrific (photos)

This is the bizarre moment a dead snake kept wriggling - despite half of its body being completely crushed. The deceased reptile was lying on the drive way of a house in Charleston, South Carolina, but continued to move the tail-end of its body. But the usual explanation that involves nerves continuing to send signals to the spinal cord - resulting in muscles twitches and spasms after death - is not the reason in this case.

The video reveals that the copperhead snake is full of maggots, that are wriggling frantically under the reptile's skin.

A caption alongside the video reads: "Found a partially crushed baby copperhead in the driveway today. Went to take a picture of it and discovered it was still moving. After further examination, I found that it was not some postmortem muscle spasm causing the movement, but rather the fact that it was full of maggots. No idea how long it was there.

Woman posted selfie of her boyfriend pointing a gun on social media hours before he allegedly shot her dead

According to the police, 21-year-old Stephanie Hernandez posted one picture of a gun and ammo in her Little Rock home and also sent a Snapchat photo showing her smiling at the camera while her boyfriend, Rafael Gonzalez, holds a gun behind her head. "Strap Chat," the caption said, punning a slang term for carrying a gun. A few hours later, she died by the same gun...

That night, the mother of a 3-year-old and an 8-month-old daughter, was found dead from a gunshot wound in her house. Police found the home ransacked, with blood all over a floor. Gonzalez, 20, was arrested the next day and and charged for first-degree murder, police said.

It’s unclear what led to Gonzalez allegedly shooting his girlfriend. Hernandez’s daughters were with relatives when the shooting happened, her friends said. Hernandez’s family members were horrified to see the pictures she had taken, not knowing they would be her last...

      "I guess they were loaded. In her back — it is just mind-blowing. I don’t understand how anybody could do that." Hernandez's uncle Rey Hernadez told KATV.

 

Now they’re left to explain to Hernandez’s little girls what happened.

      "My nieces have been crying all night," Hernandez’s sister Camryn Startz told KATV. "I haven't told my 3-year-old niece anything yet. She knows something is wrong because she wants her mom."

Relatives said Hernandez had just moved into a new home weeks ago and was supposed to start a job Monday morning. One friend, Jaquinlan Davis, told KATV Hernandez’s boyfriend was “a bad influence” and the two had a rocky, on-and-off relationship.

Hajj: High speed trains to replace buses next year-Saudi official

Haramain high-speed railway will replace most buses transporting pilgrims between Makkah and Madinah by December 2016.

An official of Haramain, the Saudi firm expected to run the train services has told a local newspaper in Makkah that there would be 35 trains operational next year to serve more than two million pilgrims.
He said each train would have 15 carriages and three first class carriages.
He added that work had now been completed on the train stations in Madinah and Rabigh’s King Abdullah Economic City.
He also said the stations in Makkah and Jeddah were almost complete.

In Prophet Mohammad’s Mosque in Saudi Arabia, Friday sermons to be translated into Hausa, six other languages

The Agency of General Presidency for the Prophet’s Mosque Affairs in Madinah, Saudi Arabia, has appointed six interpreters to translate Friday sermons into the Hausa language as well as in French, English, Urdu, Chichewa, and Turkish.

The translated version of the sermons would be broadcast on various FM radio frequencies, including Hausa (107.2FM), English (105.5FM), Urdu (105FM), Chichewa (99FM), French (99.5FM), and Turkish (107FM).
Abdullah Al-Hattab, director of the translation department at the Prophet’s Mosque, said that about 300,000 pilgrims and visitors had already benefited from the translation services.
He said the project would enable a vast number of worshippers from diverse backgrounds to understand the important messages.
The broadcast is also being made accessible through the online website of the project.
“Instant translation devices are also being distributed among worshippers in this regard. All of the devices are sterilized to ensure health safety,” he said.
“The project is considered as a major achievement and a quantum leap in the nature and quality of the services offered at the Prophet’s Mosque to assist and welcome visitors, worshippers and Muslims from all around the world,” he added.
