A drunk man who was kicked out of his girlfriend’s home, was found dead after trying to get into her home through the cat door, police in Florida said. St. Augustine police said that early on Saturday morning, they were called to a home located in the 2200 block of Twin Fox Trail.
WWWN reports that 32-year-old Charles Eugene Tucker Jr., was found with his head and arms lodged in the small pet door in the side of the house. According to the police investigation, the man’s girlfriend told him to get out of the house because he was drunk and belligerent.
The woman called police around at 2:30 a.m., and when officers arrived, they found that Tucker was dead. Investigators believe that Tucker thought he could enter the home through the cat door. Police do not suspect foul play, but a medical examiner will perform an autopsy to determine the official cause of Tucker’s death.
